Trends To Try | Pale Pink

Also known as Pale Dogwood Pink, I am loving this shade of pink so much. While I prefer bolder shades of colours, pastel pink has a way of creeping up on you and making you fall in love!
As with other colours that I feature in the Trends To Try series, I like to imagine how I can incorporate pale pink not only in my wardrobe but in my day to day. Different ways you can incorporate this colour are by:

wear a pale pink shade of nail polish
buying pale pink flowers
adding pale pink accents to your home decor in the form of towels, bath mats, a couch or throw rug or pillow for your bed or couch

If going for full on pale pink isn't your forte, how about getting accessories instead e.g. a handbag, tie, shoes, scarf.
When wearing pale pink, pair it with black and white to add a pop of colour, blue and a hint of green to freshen it up or with a bit of gold. Pink and grey always look good together so you can easily add this trend to your work wardrobe.

Style Challenge Day 18 - Dress down your favourite little black dress

The little black dress has to be my favourite fashion item of all time. I believe you can't have too many black dresses. For today's challenge I picked this black dress which has leather detailing on the shoulders. I last wore it on the blog here . I paired it with Toms, a trend that I can't get enough of. I absolutely love the contrast of a smart dress paired with sneakers. In cooler weather I would have added a denim jacket but seeing as the sun is closer to the ground these days, I opted to go without the jacket. I felt I needed some colour hence the necklace. I have started becoming a huge fan of smaller earrings. I wear these at least three times a week. What is your take on the whole sneakers with anything and everything trend? Have you tried it out? FEELS LIKE AUTUMN

Hi all!!! I hope you’re having a better week than I am. I know it’s only Tuesday but I’m feeling so low I just want this week to end. I’m currently reading a book that is forcing me to look at my life and make some changes for the better. I have been struggling with some things the reality of which I have been running away from.
