Hi, I'm Audrey. Welcome to Inches To Style☺ How it started I fell in love with fashion at an early age. In fact, I wanted to be a model and when I realised that I wouldn’t make the cut because of my height, I decided that I would become a fashion designer. I’d been making clothes for my dolls for years so I knew that was a career path I would love to pursue.  I didn’t study fashion nor did I become a fashion designer but my love for clothes and putting outfits together stuck with me.  On September 12, 2011 I wrote my first blog post, after I discovered the world of fashion blogs and got hooked. What I wore: Feminine silhouettes

Over the years, I've noticed that my personal style has evolved. Apart from my preference for comfort, I've learned to love more feminine pieces, so much so that I now prefer dresses over trousers. Maybe this has to do with the fact that it is blistering hot right now and just the thought of putting on a constricting pair of jeans at the moment makes me feel like I will melt. Or, I've been influenced, haha! You see, baby girl loves herself a dress or two. So she might have had a hand in getting me to wear more dresses than trousers. Anyway, my preferred silhouette when it comes to dresses is bodycon or a-line/skater-style. They're super easy to style, in formal or casual shoes, and can be worn for every occasion from the office, to lunch with the girls to a night out.  This dress checks all those boxes. What I wore: Drop-waist LBD

Hi, come closer, let me whisper something. Wearing this dress had me feeling myself! I felt like a Queen. Like I could conquer the world. I felt an inner strength that I hadn't felt in a long time. You know how they say your appearance plays a big role in how you feel about yourself? I'm here to tell you that this is so true. I'm not saying that we should all abandon hard work and using our brains and only concentrate on our looks but if you want a simple fix on a day when you feel, to put it simply, meh, dress up. I had been thinking about a drop waist dress with a flouncy hemline ever since I watched Lydia Millen's edit with Karen Millen. I can't explain why.
