This week's Celebrity Style post features a new style icon and some old favourites.

I like the controversy, well, I enjoy how the Kardashians keep people guessing. While I admire the three older sisters, and would almost kill for a taste of their Kardashian Kollection, I have developed a liking the two younger sisters more and more. I especially like Kylie Jenner. I was gushing over her magazine shoot for Cosmopolitan the other day and couldn't help but admire her in this black crotchet midi dress.

Then there's no hiding how much I love Lupita. Did you know she is the cover girl for Lucky Magazine for March this year? As much as I love to see her in various shades of lipstick, it's nice to see her au naturelle on this cover.

And then of course there is my other favourite, Kerry Washington who once again wowed in a polka dot dress by Dolce & Gabbana that inspired a DIY which I can't wait to share with you. Don't you just love her cute purse?

A Pop of Colour

I tend to gravitate towards darker colours. To counter that, I always look for ways to add some colour to my outfits. Red accessories tend to be my go-to when it comes to adding pops of colour be it in the form of red shoes, a red necklace or some red lipstick. I've started using this same philosophy in life by doing something that I know will give me joy. It doesn't have to be anything extraordinary. Most of the time it's doing something I enjoy, like writing in my journal or reading a few chapters of my novel. Other times it's performing a task that I have been postponing for a while, like clearing out my laptop or talking to a friend. The end result is always a feeling of accomplishment. Style Challenge Day 19 - Belt your outerwear

Day 19 of 30. I confess that I have reached that point in the style challenge where I am quickly running out of new styling ideas hence the multitude of black dresses that I have featured. I love wearing black and now that I need to start coming up with outfits that feature a lot more colour, I have to really rack my brain. Back to today's outfit. Lately, when it comes to outerwear, I have been gravitating towards cropped jackets and coats. But I still have a few longer ones like this army-inspired, khaki green, sleeveless jacket being one of them. I absolutely love wearing it with dresses and this black chiffon midi dress was no exception. What I Wore | Feminine Pieces

Some days ago I watched a YouTube video that inspired me to push myself a bit more. I can't remember what the video was all about but I remember the vlogger saying that you should create more than you consume. That what we consume should serve to inspire us to create more. Ever since I watched that video, I have been asking myself why I don't create as much as I used to. I feel like I have let my creativity slide and half the time I feel disappointed in myself for slacking. Granted, life has been tough on me over the last couple of years and this has had a domino effect on different aspects of my life.
