Is anyone else kinda thrilled to be going through the different 90s trends? I know I am. Take the bomber jacket for instance. It has made a come back in a huge way. And now, you can get it with floral prints, bright cheery colours, with embroidery or just keep it simple.
Wear it with jeans, a dress or skirt, this is the ultimate piece if you want to bring out the tom boy in you. I love the contrast it brings when worn with more feminine pieces like a skirt or dress and heels.

Five Books I Want To Read in 2019

My love for reading books has always been bubbling beneath the surface and it has finally blown over. I've not always been a great reader. To make matters worse, motherhood has given me even less time for leisure activities like reading. However, I started pushing myself a bit and now I make time to read. I find it a good use of time to read while in the matatu, when I take myself on a lunch date or when my eyes need a rest from constantly staring at a screen. This year, I have decided to challenge myself a bit more by documenting the books I have read and loved as well as have a running list of books that I would love to read. WHAT I WORE: Fashion Trance 2012

Hi all!! Happy new month. I hope you are as excited as I am for the holidays. Last week, I won a pair of VIP tickets from Nancie Mwai to attend the Fashion Trance event held at the Mamba Village, Nairobi. I was so excited to have worn. I think this is the first giveaway I've ever won!!! I went for a practical yet chic look because the weather was so uncertain. I chose my purple denim trousers, a sequin top and wedges. I carried my trench coat because I knew I would be reaching the house very late. Because sequins can be a little too much, I kept my jewellery simple by wearing my ethnic Indian chandelier earrings which I absolutely love, a polka dot bracelet and purple ring.
